The “hire period” shall be such a time that has been previously agreed by the Hirer, bivvyhire.co.uk and been paid for.
Any extension to this “hire period” shall only be permitted if agreed by bivvyhire.co.uk who will take into account third party needs first.
Full payment (including deposit) must be paid before the rental period. This can be paid by debit card, credit card, via Paypal, or in cash in person.
A deposit of 50% of the Booking Fee will be taken immediately on booking of your hire. We will then contact you 14 days from your hire to confirm all details and ensure the hire is still going ahead. At this point the remainder of the hire fee will be taken. All hires of boat MUST be made in full before the boat will be sent out by courier.
A 'holding fee' of £250.00 is required for all Bivvy and Bait Boat Hire's, this is not deducted from your account but held over by Worldpay in case of any issues with the hired items. For Alarms and Scales a deposit of £75.00 is required. The deposit can be paid by debit card, credit card, via Paypal, or in cash in person.
Your deposit will be refunded once Bivvyhire.co.uk has received the returned hire goods and have checked the condition is the same as when it was rented.
Damages or lost items/parts
All damages or losses must be reported by the hirer on return. Any damages or losses will be charged at the going rate for repair or replacement. A full receipt will be given for any such charges. All replacements will be on a like for like basis. Charges for damages will be taken from the "Holding Fee" paid by the customer immediately. Once the boat has been returned from the repairs (up to 6 weeks) and we have a receipt of the charges incurred we will deduct this from the fee and the remaining balance will be returned.
Lost of Hire or Hired items that have been stolen while on Hire will be charged at Full RRP.
Wear and Tear
Reasonable wear and tear will not be considered as damage. “Reasonable” will be deemed as such by Bivvyhire.co.uk
Any damage not as a result of reasonable wear and tear will by the responsibility of the customer and as such the customer will be charged for the repair or replacement of such damage.
Charges for damaged or lost goods will be taken from the deposit paid by the customer and remaining balance returned.
Collection & Return by the hirer
All the delivery and collection costs are free of charge and will be arrange by the Bivvy Hire.co.uk team, all collection and delivery will be done and completed by tracked courier service which will require a signature upon receipt. Delivery will be completed at least 24hrs prior to the hire date. All goods are to be ready for collection for the courier service 24hrs after the hiring period and all hired good must be returned in the same packaging.
If you would like to collect personally, please contact me directly and we can arrange suitable timings.
The collection and return dates will be agreed at the time of booking and any late return or missed colections will be charged at £25.00 a day.
If you are paying cash a Photo ID (Drivers Licence or Passport) and proof of address is required for all rentals. We take a copy of this which will then be deleted upon the safe return of the equipment at the end of your hire period.
The delivery and collection time and dates will be agreed at the time of booking. The hirer is responsible to ensure that someone is present to sign for and to check the condition of the hired product. Any missed deliveries will be charged accordingly
The hirer is responsible to pay all costs and expenses if Bivvy Hire.co.uk have to recover money, property owed or owned by Bivvy Hire.co.uk. This will include all legal costs.
Bivvy Hire.co.uk will not be held liable or responsible of any injuries occurred whilst using any of our fishing products or equipment.
The Deposit (made at the time of booking) is Non-Refundable. If the hirer returns the hired product before the end of the rental period is over, then a 50% refund of the remaining hiring period will be made.
If full payment for a hire has been made, and a Customer decides to cancel their bookings, with more than 14 Days notice, then all monies will be returned less for their initially deposit.
